A #NOFOMO KIND OF SUMMER

Target was getting ready to release their new swimwear collection, and they wanted a unique way to do it. 

At the time, the marketplace was full of either the typical super-skinny types or super curvy bodies acting as a rebellious response to them. We wanted to land somewhere in the middle. Somewhere that felt authentic and relatable to our audience. Somewhere we could encourage normal women, of every size, to feel confident and secure in their swimwear. 

That’s how #NOFOMO (No Fear of Missing Out) was born. This was Target’s mantra for the summer of 2016. We kicked it all off with the #NOFOMO Challenge, taking to Facebook, Pinterest, IG, and YouTube to collab with models, influencers, and even Barbie. The result was a celebration of swimwear, bodies, and living out your summer to its fullest. Not to mention a fun and inspiring message that Target loves every body.
