Sweet was the first-ever media brand to launch on Snapchat’s Discover platform. From people to places to trends and entertainment, we combined words with videos, photos, illustrations, and animation to create daily (that’s right—daily) editions of unique content. I worked on the editorial team before and during its launch to establish content strategy, write and produce, interview talent, and publish profiles and essays on culturally relevant topics. 

Sweet was nominated for a Webby in 2017 for Best Editorial in mobile apps, won two Hearst awards for Digital Innovation and Best Use of Social Media, and boasted an audience of 18 million+ monthly readers and 6 million subscribers.
